Parents will be allowed to stay with children as long as possible prior to surgery, and they will be reunited after the surgery is completed. Tests are usually scheduled at most 30 days prior to the procedure. If you experience any changes in health or if you're taking any medications, alert your doctor before the surgery so precautions or a rescheduling can be made.
